What's in a name?
Many years ago, in the late 80s, my old boss Steve, a Mancunian, used to ask me to write him simple programs.
When the software was finished, the conversation normally went like this.
Me: "How's your software Steve?"
Steve: "Bloody Champion!"
I started working for myself in the early 90s, trading as Champion Software. Working at my mum's house in Bideford, I
soon had several satisfied clients. This was in the early days of personal computing and very few companies had PCs -
those that did usually only had one and that was normally something of a novelty. In 2003 I made the company limited
and continued to gain more happy customers. Today, I focus on looking after my family while keeping Champion Software Ltd
the best it can be for customer service and satisfaction.
The handsome, intelligent chap in the picture below is Winston, I'm the other one!
